A tour around MyVillage on Sunday

Last Sunday, it was a great time spent and also a eye-opener for me when I went to MyVillage located at Serangoon Garden Circus, which is just a stone's throw away from my house, also located in the Serangoon Garden district. I had always anticipated my visit to MyVillage as during the days of construction, I had always passed by there when I had the time to take a peek of the progress of the construction to see how was it going. Now going on to the main point. Although there wasn't many shops in the mall that caught my attention, the thing that caught my attention are the details and hard labour put into constructing and designing the mall. Everything was designed so nicely that the mall looked like some other mall in the bustling streets of Orchard Road, except that it was exceptionally smaller in size. And what stumbled me was that even though it was small, it took a longer time to build instead of the gigantic shopping mall, NEX, at Serangoon Central. Maybe it was because of the classy design of the mall. After walking through the walkways, looking into shops, window-shopping, me, my sister and cousin finally reached the last floor, which was named ' The Garden ', without noticing. ' The Garden ' is a spacious and cooling outdoor rooftop park meant for people to relax and walk around there with their family members. The three of us were strolling on the rooftop, talking to each other about stuff and laughing at each other's jokes. After walking through every nook and cranny of the mall, we decided to head home and that was the end of our journey to MyVillage.
